Martyn Newbold's MITSUBISHI FTO GR Mods:

Exterior.

In very good condition and has always been kept looking sweet using meguirs 1-2-3 stage polishes and resins. Also D-Speed clear side repeaters are fitted and the car is always garaged when not in use. The car has been de-badged and has a chromed bonnet emblem

Chassis.

The car has been lowered on Apex springs with a drop of 45mm FR and 25mm Rear. The car also benefits from a pair of ultra rare D-Cuarto strut braces fitted front and back!!!

Wheels/Tyres/Brakes

The car has Camskill drilled disks all round. The front has Greenstuff Fast Road pads and the rear has Mintex 1155's. All calipers were removed for painting gold, and the fluid was changed to DOT 5.1 at the same time.
The wheels are 18" Toora 5 Plats with flush valves. The tyres are Toyo Proxes T1-S 225/35/18's. The brakes wheels and tyres have covered approx 4000miles since new.

Engine and Bay

Again kept sweet with Meguirs products and is cleaned to a high standard. The Engine is standard apart from a Quikshift Induction kit. The gases are taken care of by a Camskill De-Cat pipe and a Powerflow Stainless Steel exhaust with a 5" Slash Cut tailpipe.

Interior

Has a Steel Silver (A34) painted centre console and pods, with deep dish dial rings fitted. The clocks have a brushed stainless bezel. Also there are a set of Ralliart Style pedals. Richbrook tax disc holder.

The Tip switches have also been swapped around for a better driving feel!!!

I.C.E and Security
The FTO has a Pioneer Head Unit with a 6-disc CD changer. There is also an Remote Controlled Audio Processer to keep the tunes tight!!
Fitted and part of the sale is a genuine Nokia Car Kit for a 6310i mobile phone.

The alarm is a Toad A606i CAT 1 alarm and immobiliser, with certificates for insurance.

Services

Although there is no Japanese history with the vehicle, it has been regularly service by myself and the motor gets the MOBIL1 changed every 4k miles as does the Tip-Box fluids. The engine has also been run on Shell Optimax fuel ONLY The cam-belt and tensioner were changed when the car was imported at 50k miles
